Delivery

Mainland UK (not highlands)

Our overnight delivery cost is free for orders over £35 and £5.85 for deliveries under.  Choose your delivery date in the checkout.

We use a reputable national courier so there is some responsibility at your end to ensure the cheese reaches you in perfect condition.  We cannot take responsibility for the cheese not being delivered if someone is not there to receive it, this is particularly important if you are sending a gift. Please make sure your recipients know something is coming that needs to be received and opened asap!   

We deliver on Tues, Wed, Thurs or Friday although Friday is not recommended in case of delays.  We can deliver on Saturdays if you like but the cost is about £30 more, in this instance please email us for a quote.  We're fairly well stocked all of the time, but the more notice you can give us, the more likely we are to be able to deliver exactly what you would like. We would appreciate at least 3 weeks notice for wedding orders so we can mature the bries to perfection but again we can get most things in a week and if it's a late emergency we can often supply a gorgeous selection from stock.

Highlands/Islands including N Ireland (Not Channel Islands)

We use Royal Mail for these deliveries.  You can choose from tracked 24 or special delivery, we highly recommend special delivery as it will be quicker.  The price breaks are are 1.5kg, 4kg, 16kg, of cheese, this is to allow for the ice needed to keep it within their allowances.  Please do not order unless you are happy for it to take 48 hours.  Friday delivery is not recommended.

Availability

All products listed on the web site are subject to availability. Many of our cheeses come directly from small producers, and on rare occasions may not be available.  If this is the case, we can provide a good alternative, the substitute will be something we consider equally as good or better. We will always get in touch to discuss substitutions if necessary. Sometimes it may just mean a brief delay in delivery as an alternative.

Cheese weights

Cheeses can vary considerably in weight due to their handmade nature. We will always try to cut as near to your request as possible and if we are a little under on one cheese, we will make sure we are a little over on another to make sure you receive the amount of cheese you have paid for.

Collection

You can order online to collect in store, please make sure your choose which shop you are collecting from and when at the checkout.  You will need to apply the discount code 'collection' in the discount code section of the website to be able to get a 20% discount for collection from the shop.
