Ludlow is a town famed for it's abundance of quality food outlets of all types. Mousetrap Cheese Ludlow was opened nearly 20 years ago and has proved a hit with visitors and locals alike. With such a high amount of 'foodie tourists' who certainly know their cheese, it's vital that the wealth of experience and knowledge of the Mousetrap staff goes into caring for and selling the best quality cheeses available. Matt is in charge and Sadie, Lynn and Katie have great experience and are ready to help.

As in all of our shops, we supply a wide range of the best local cheeses. We're lucky to have some great local dairies like Moydens, Neals Yard Creamery, and the Monkland Dairy amongst many others! We have a great variety of cow, sheep and goat cheese from around the UK and the pick of the best from around the world. Our cheese is so well thought of that we supply many amazing local pubs and restaurants, a fact of which we are immensely proud.

We'd be delighted if you would like to visit us at our Ludlow Cheese Shop.  If you're coming on a special visit and would like to be able to have a particular cheese, please give us a ring at the number below and we can check that we've got it in stock or order some in if you give us a bit of notice.

If you're planning a wedding or a party and would like a large cheese selection, we'd appreciate at least a couple of weeks notice so we can make sure we can get your cheese matured to perfection for your special day. We love to do tasting sessions with Brides and Grooms but we find that it works best for everyone if we make an appointment for it so we can ensure there are enough staff to spend time with the happy couple as well as serve our lovely customers! Don't worry if you can't book, the best thing to do in that case is come first thing when it's a bit quieter!
