DESCRIPTIONMonkland cheese is hand-made at a local cheese dairy. Similar to a Cheshire cheese or caerphilly but not as crumbly. Monkland is a raw milk cheese and is bathed in brine then matured for 4-8 weeks. It has a light crumbly texture and a salty tang.
Monklands do vary a fair bit in size and therefore price, so if you would like a whole one, drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can give you a price depending on if you want a large or a small one. They are around 2 - 2.5kg for a whole.
