Slightly sweeter than roquefort
DESCRIPTIONMrs Bells Blue cheese is a highly lauded sheep milk cheese, full of flavour from the Ewe's milk thats comparable to Roquefort but slightly sweeter with less salt which for me makes a nicer cheese. Made by Judy Bell up in Thirsk who also makes Yorkshire blue, and the very lovely Harrogate Blue, its similarly creamy so a very nice mouthful indeed. Matured for 10-12 weeks developing its snow white colour and lovely blue veining. Made with vegetarian rennet and pasteurised milk.
A 'whole' Mrs Bells blue comes as 2 halves.
