Perroche Cheese, young fresh British goat's milk cheese
Lemony, soft and Light
DESCRIPTIONPerroche cheese is a local fresh goat's milk cheese with a savoury and lemony flavour. Perroche is is fluffy yet substantial. Made at Neal's Yard Creamery down the road in Dorstone, Herefordshire. Perroche cheese comes plain or rolled in Tarragon, Dill or Rosemary. (Please note, if we don't have your requested herb, we will replace with another)
Charlie Westhead and his team let the curds develop overnight, then cut into 1 inch cubes and carefully scoop it into its moulds where they are left to drain under their own weight for a night. The cheeses get a quick 10 minute brine bath the following day giving them a gentle saltiness. They're then shipped out to us at only a few days old, so a really lovely fresh treat! Consequently it's worth you ordering one of these in advance of your delivery date so we can make sure we save you one as they go fast!!

The creamiest goats cheese I have ever eaten
So soft and delicate in flavour, so easy to spread and so delicious with grapes (I seem to be finding a lot of cheeses that go with grapes at the moment!). Equally delicious with smoked salmon on brown wholemeal bread.
