  • DESCRIPTION
Wigmore cheese is velvety and fragrant, a traditionally made, ewe's milk cheese made by Anne and Andy Wigmore near Reading in Berkshire.  It is matured for 6 weeks.  This is a washed curd cheese, the process whereby some of the whey is removed and the curds are washed, giving the cheese less acidity and therefore a gentler flavour. The cheese is at its best when ripe and unctious, it's really delicate and slightly sweet, a real treat.  Unpasteurised and vegetarian.

    Simply Delicious

A Wigmore Brie and Grape sarnie - simply delicious! Can’t say much more apart from the fact that Mousetrap Cheese are the first company I have found with Ewes Milk Brie so my thanks to them for bringing one of my wishes to fruition.

    Great brie

Not usually a great fan of soft cheese but this was beautiful.

    OK but not Wow.

A nice brie but started to go over very quickly after arrival, so had to be eaten quickly.
