Hafod Cheddar cheese is hand-made by the Holden family on their farm which has been organic for 35 years. Hafod organic cheddar is a wonderful Welsh cheese made from the raw milk of their own Ayrshire herd and has a lovely rich and nutty flavour with a good bite. The name - Hafod (pronounced Havod) is Welsh for summer place or pasture. In the farms case, Hafod is an area of meadow next to the river Aeron where all the cows graze as heifers before joining the milking herd. The family have put masses of effort into getting this cheese just right over the past few years and it's developed into a great rounded taste with a lovely strength. As the French would say, there's a lot of 'terroir' in this cheese, so if you haven't tried it for a while, it might be time for another go!

- While 24-hour delivery is expected, it is not guaranteed due to potential courier delays. We pack our cheese with plenty of ice to ensure it remains fresh for up to 48 hours if needed. For events, we recommend scheduling delivery at least 48 hours prior to the event, avoiding Fridays for weekend events.
- There is free delivery on orders over £40, while orders between £20 and £40 incur a £5.95 delivery charge. The minimum order value for delivery is £20.
- Deliveries are available from Tuesday to Friday. Next-day delivery is possible for orders placed before 1pm, excluding Christmas. Deliveries cannot be made on, or the day after, a bank holiday.
- Collections can be ordered for Monday to Saturday at our Hereford or Ludlow store.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the delivery date will result in a 10% administration fee.
