Snowdonia Mature Cheddar. A lovely creamy tasty welsh cheddar, very popular in its little black bomber form. Cows milk, pasteurised and vegetarian. 21.5cm wide x 9cm high. 3.4kg
Montagnolo: Soft and creamy and full of gentle blue flavour, lovely for a crowd as it suits a lot of tastes, in fact it won the World Cheese Awards. Cows milk, pasteurised, lactose free (just because of the length of time it matures) and vegetarian. 20cm x 6.5cm. 2kg.
Wigmore: Gorgeous sweet ewes milk brie. Velvety and unctious, this is a real treat. Unpasteurised and vegetarian, its 18cm x 3cm. 800g
Cornish Yarg wrapped in wild garlic leaves: Vibrant green, giving a milder cheese option for your guests with a lovely hint of garlic. Cows milk, pasteurised, vegetarian. 13cm x 9cm. 1kg.
Blue Monk: A tasty local blue, made near Leominster. Creamy and full of flavour the blue mouldy outer gives a great looking topping to this cheese wedding stack. Cows milk, unpasteurised. 9cm x 5cm, 200g.
To make this a vegetarian option, we will just swap the Blue Monk on top for a lovely local Finn, a gorgeous tasty soft cheese, unpasteurised and vegetarian.
For a gathering we recommend 50 - 100g per person, depending if the cheese is to be eaten straight after the meal or later in the evening and with other food or by itself. (So the lower amount it shows as feeding is based on 50g and the higher is 100g) We can very happily advise over email so drop us a line on info@mousetrapcheese.co.uk for ideas for a bespoke cheese board for your wedding or event.
