- Quickes Vintage Cheddar Cheese is a wonderful mouthful of flavour. Quickes Cheddar cheese Matured for 2 years, this vintage Quickes Cheddar has an amazing depth of flavour. The French call it terroir; the taste of the land that the food comes from, I can certainly get a taste of the earthy pasture at the end of the amazing depths of cheddary notes that this cheese keeps on giving. The lovely melty cheese is peppered with little amino acid crystals, a consequence of a lengthy maturation. Traditionally made in Devon, clothbound and turned daily to ensure perfect maturation, this cheese is truly a labour of love. Made with traditional rennet and unpasteurised milk, its lovely with a nice chardonnay or cabernet sauvignon.

- While 24-hour delivery is expected, it is not guaranteed due to potential courier delays. We pack our cheese with plenty of ice to ensure it remains fresh for up to 48 hours if needed. For events, we recommend scheduling delivery at least 48 hours prior to the event, avoiding Fridays for weekend events.
- There is free delivery on orders over £40, while orders between £20 and £40 incur a £5.95 delivery charge. The minimum order value for delivery is £20.
- Deliveries are available from Tuesday to Friday. Next-day delivery is possible for orders placed before 1pm, excluding Christmas. Deliveries cannot be made on, or the day after, a bank holiday.
- Collections can be ordered for Monday to Saturday at our Hereford or Ludlow store.
- Cancellations within 48 hours of the delivery date will result in a 10% administration fee.
