A wonderful wedding cheese cake feeding up to 50 for evening or lunch, or up to 100 for after dinner cheese. Standing lovely and high at over 28cm, it's a great selection. If you like the look of the Rachel but need more cheese, you can have double the height of Wensleydale and Cranberry and/or Cashel Blue and/or the base!
From the bottom up:
Half Worcester Hop: tangy, tasty cheddar rolled in toasted hops, this is our best selling cheese and great for a range of tastes., pasteurised, cow's milk, vegetarian, 1kg, 20cm x 5cm
Half Whittington Oak: This is a really gorgeous smoked cheddar. Smooth and creamy with a wonderful smoke - from real oak chips. It's a game changer. Pasteurised, cow's milk, vegetarian, 1kg (If you would rather not have a smoked, there's a lovely milder cheddar called Whittington Red that we can swap in at the same price)
Wensleydale and cranberry, always a crowd pleaser for those sweet cheese lovers! 17cm wide x 4cm and its made with vegetarian rennet and pasteurised milk, 1kg
Cashel Blue: Cut as a half height circle for this stack, Cashel is a gorgeous soft blue with lots of lovely flavour. pasteurised, cow's milk, vegetarian. 800g 14cm x 4.5cm
OR Delice de Bourgogne - if you'd rather not have blue cheese, you could swap it out for a lovely creamy delice. covered in a lovely white rind like a brie, this is a really rich and cream soft cheese. (You can see it in the middle of the Evie) cow's milk, traditional rennett.1kg 13 x 9cm. (Choose no blue in the amount required option) Delice is not included in the sample pack, please let us know via the checkout if you would like it.
Baby Manchego: Traditional nutty Spanish Ewe's milk cheese. Great for a point of difference in the selection, 800g. Sheep's milk, pasteurised, animal rennet. 12 x 11cm
Finn: A mature, double cream cheese made up the road. 9cm wide by 4cm. Pasteurised, cows milk, vegetarian 200g.
Double up options:
The Wensleydale and Cranberry double up adds another 1kg and 4cm in height (which comes as one whole cheese)
Cashel Blue double another 800g and 4.5cm in height. (which comes as one whole cheese)
The double base adds a slightly wider 2kg Hop on the bottom and then you have 2, 1kg whittington oak semi circles on the next level, so adding a further 2kg of cheese. (You can see how this looks on the Georgina)
So if you went for extra of all of the double up options that would give you a 8.9kg cake, suitable for 90 - 180. Great for about 150 evening food.
For a gathering we recommend 50 - 100g per person, depending if the cheese is to be eaten straight after the meal or later in the evening and with other food or by itself. (So the lower amount it shows as feeding is based on 50g and the higher is 100g) We can very happily advise over email so drop us a line on info@mousetrapcheese.co.uk for ideas for a bespoke cheese board for your wedding or event.
