Kitty Wedding Cheese, 6.7kg cake

The Kitty is a great selection for a gathering of 70 to 140, ideal for an evening do of about 100 or so.  Standing about 42cm high, it's a really lovely looking stack, veggie option available with a switch of the heart on top.

From the bottom up:

Wensleydale and cranberry, always a crowd pleaser for those sweet cheese lovers! The base of this stack is 23cm wide x 7cm and its made with vegetarian rennet and pasteurised milk, 2.3kg

If you wanted to have  split base, so a bit more option, we can match in a Wensleydale and Apricot for the same price, just write it in the message to the cheese shop box in the checkout.

Worcester Hop:  tangy, tasty and rolled in toasted hops, this is our best selling cheese and great for a range of tastes., pasteurised, cow's milk, vegetarian, 2kg, 18.5cm x 6.5cm

Cashel Blue:  Cashel is a gorgeous soft blue with lots of lovely flavour. pasteurised, cow's milk, vegetarian. 1.6g 14cm x 11cm

Snowdonia black bomber 400g: Gorgeous, tasty black bomber cheddar.  Full of flavour, creamy and delicious, made by a cooperative of Welsh farmers.. Vegetarian, pasteurised, cow's milk. 12cm x 5cm

Finn: A mature, double cream cheese made up the road.  9cm wide by 4cm.  Unpasteurised, cows milk, vegetarian 200g.

Top cheese:

Sadly as the neufchatel hearts are no longer available due to a ban on imports of unpasteurised cheese from France, there are a number of other options you can buy for the top cheese:

Godminster Heart or star: Delicious organic vegetarian Cheddar in burgundy Wax, pasteurised cow's milk, vegetarian rennet

Caru Ti: Equally delicious organic cheddar in cream wax, pasteurised cow's milk, vegetarian rennet

Dorstone: Ashed goats cheese, tasty and smooth, traditional rennet

Petite Langre:  Funky little orange rind washed French Cheese, pour champagne in the dip! traditional rennet, pasteurised cow's milk.

I am still trying to get a brie heart as a replacement, so if you'd prefer that please let us know in the message in the checkout and if we get something suitable before your wedding is due we'll let you know and can swap it, but choose your replacement if we can't get anything.

Kitty is a fully vegetarian selection by having the Godminster cheddar heart, star or Caru Ti  on top.

For a gathering we recommend 50 - 100g per person, depending if the cheese is to be eaten straight after the meal or later in the evening and with other food or by itself.  (So the lower amount it shows as feeding is based on 50g and the higher is 100g) We can very happily advise over email so drop us a line on info@mousetrapcheese.co.uk for ideas for a bespoke cheese board for your wedding or event.
