Mrs Bells Blue cheese is a highly lauded sheep milk cheese, full of flavour from the Ewe's milk that's comparable to Roquefort but slightly sweeter with less salt which for me makes a nicer cheese. Made by Judy Bell up in Thirsk who also makes Yorkshire blue, and the very lovely Harrogate Blue, its similarly creamy so a very nice mouthful indeed. Matured for 10-12 weeks developing its snow white colour and lovely blue veining. Made with vegetarian rennet and pasteurised milk.

A lovely mild blue, fantastic for a cheese board
Great choices of cheeses as I can’t eat cheeses made from cows milk i can not be more pleased to find so many choices here. I have been buying from The Mousetrap for 2 years now and I can’t be more pleased with their cheeses and service. They come well packaged with a cool bag and hay for transportation. If you want choice, tasty cheeses and wonderful service don’t look any further. I will be buying for years to come .Thank you
I ordered Mrs. Bell’s Blue Sheep’s Milk Cheese for my birthday celebration along with several other cheeses from Mousetrap. They were all in perfect condition and absolutely delicious. Mousetrap rang me to say that the blue ewe’s milk cheese oxidises very quickly and had already started to turn slightly pink on the edge but that it didn’t spoil the flavour. I’ll say it didn’t! I was offered an alternative but turned it down and I’m very glad I did. The pink bit was the first bit I ate and it was mouthwatering!
Very much looking forward to having an excuse to order another cheese feast. Mrs. Bell’s will be at the top of the list.
