Exciting news!!! Y-Fenni is back! Master Cheese blenders Croome Cuisine have bought the recipe and the rights to this wonderful tangy cheese with Ale and Mustard in and are making it to the exacting specifications that the Abergavenny Creamery have supplied.
Y-Fenni cheese is a tasty Cheddar style cheese with beer and mustard seeds added. This welsh cheese is lovely as cheese on toast (or by itself, in a sandwich etc!).A popular addition for a cheese wedding cake, as the exterior is covered with a cream coloured wax. Made with pasteurised milk and vegetarian.
A whole cheese weighs just over 1.5kg and is 18.5cm wide by 6 cm high.
