Gouda with Cumin cheese is a Dutch cheese believed to date from 17th Century when Indian spices started to appear more readily around Europe.  The cheese is only young in this case (in Gouda terms), matured for 8 to10 weeks, so the slight sweetness of the cheese makes a great foil for the crunchy little nuggets of cumin that are found within.  Its a lovely warming cheese and is great in a toastie or just for nibbling!

Made with pasteurised cow's milk.

Fantastic quality!

I am Dutch and I missed my cumin cheese . Living in the UK it was hard to find it in the deli or supermarket and it was great to see it on the Mousetrap site, Ordered it a few times by now and it is always best quality and oacked with care. Will order soon again ...my neighbours got addicted to it now too!
