*Please note, due to the current import regulations, our normal reblochon is replaced with a pasteurised version. At the moment it's a bit hit and miss as to which make we can get, so until I have a set type coming in it will not be the brand listed below, but if it is a cheaper version we will refund any difference.
Reblochon cheese is a creamy French mountain cheese which has been made for hundreds of years. Reblochon is often used as a cooking cheese, the traditional ingredient of a great Tartiflette but it's also a wonderful washed rind cheese for eating. It name derives from the word ″reblocher″ which means to milk again. In the middle ages a tax was paid on milk so the farmers would only partially milk their cows in order to pay less tax. After the tax collector left they milked the cows again which yielded a richer milk with which they made their cheese. It is velvety smooth with a rich and nutty flavour.

False advertising! Still calling it Reblochon cheese on my invoice when I was sent a cheap replacement! Won’t be using this company again!
As it clearly says in the description, we cannot get reblochon in the UK at the moment as it is unpasteurised. The cheese we sent - fleur des Alpes is a very delicious pasteurised equivalent and you were charged the correct price. I have apologised profusely for your disapointment but you were sent the only cheese that we can get that is a pasteurised version of reblochon. Again, sorry that you're upset about this. Anyone buying on here - please read the description!
